
Yung-Hui Liang is an accomplished pianist and music educator based in Zurich. Currently pursuing a Master in Pedagogy at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) under the guidance of Prof. Konstantin Scherbakov , she combines a high-level performing career with a deep commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians.
Her artistic journey is marked by numerous international accolades, including a second prize at the Duttweiler Hug Competition in Zurich , and first prizes at the Fazioli Rising Star Piano Competition and the Mouzike Piano Competition. As a soloist, she has performed renowned concertos by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and Prokofiev with orchestras such as the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Wernigerode.
In addition to her performance career, Yung-Hui is an active educator who will begin teaching at Konsibern this August. Her teaching experience also includes work as a deputy teacher at the Musikschule Thalwil. Her pedagogical approach is rooted in a diverse musical background that includes the fortepiano, composition, and jazz improvisation
